Namco Bandai nine-month figures rise, Tekken breaks 1 million

Namco Bandai posted good results for the nine months ending December 31, seeing rises in both sales and profit based on decent performances from Tekken 6, God Eater Burst and PSP dating sim AKB1/48.

NBG saw revenue hit ¥288 million, a 1.8 percent increase from the same period last year.

Operating earnings were at ¥16.6 million, up by 253 percent from 2010.

As regards software sales, Tekken 6 was the biggest winner with 1.08 million units sold. Ben 10: Ultimate Alien sold 490,000 with God Eater Burst selling 460,000 and Gundam Musou 3 at 430,000.

It was revealed yesterday that Ninja Theory's Enslaved: Odyssey to the West had sold 460,000.
