Kojima hints at “devil project,” has “another line”
Hideo Kojima has teased on Twitter something known as the “devil project.” Let the speculation commence.
The Metal Gear Solid creator hinted at the work through several tweets.
They read:
“Have to give priority to another line’s scenario etc., so now I cannot work on ‘the devil project’ and ‘writing’.”
“Worked on my ‘devil project’ a bit after lunch. An experiment went well. Plot adjustment. Additional project. Phew.. now another line.”
There was no other hint as to what the “devil project” actually is.
Kojima is thought to be working on either Metal Gear Solid 5 or Zone of the Enders 3. He’s also due to announce an NGP-related title at E3 in June.

Its been about 4 years since his last game, and nothing since. Japanese devs take way to long to make games.

@2 what do you mean 4 years? MGS4 was in Summer 2008 so that’s not 3 years yet and Peace Walker was Spring and Summber 2010. Definitely not 4 years since his last game

people love following this guy’s ass all the time!
the only reason why he thinks of so much things in a game is because he read so much books back at Uni.
There’s no way you can simply have someone like him who can design a Best Gamer Ever MGS4 by just simply being open minded.

Doubt it will be a main MGS game, I thought MGS4 was the last game that he will have any involvement in regarding writing and directing. Although he did say he would be involved in such projects as MGS:Rising, so maybe another side story game? Who knows.

@2 I’d rather have game developers take their time to polish and perfect a game rather than rushing for an easy paycheck.
