Pokémon and Nintendo handing out digital Pikachu at Toys R Us

In celebration of the new TV season of Pokémon: Black & White, Nintendo is offering folks shopping at Toys R Us a chance to take home a digital Pikachu.

From now through February 13, US stores can bring home Ash's Pikachu home on DS for the Pokémon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold, or SoulSilver Version games.

This will allow your new Pikachu to pull off moves like the Thunderbolt, Iron Tail and Volt Tackle just like on the telly.

In order to get your Pikachu, players must bring their DS, DSi, or DSi XL with them to their local Toys R Us store, along with a copy of the aforementioned games, their Pokédex and no more than two Wonder Cards.

If any of that confused you, click here to become enlightened.

Be sure to tune into Cartoon Network Saturday, February 12, at 9.00am for the two-episode premiere of Pokémon: Black & White.

Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version will both launch on March 6 in North America.
