Uncharted PSP2 gets shown off at Tokyo event

GameSpot’s gone live with a direct-feed capture of this morning’s Uncharted demo for PSP2.
SCE WWS boss Shuhei Yoshida was there on stage demoing it live, as the new handheld, codenamed, NGP, got its debut in Tokyo. Watch it below the break.
Uncharted is one of many first-party titles coming to the platform, including LBP and Killzone.

PEGI UK age rating implementation delayed until September

It’s been reported that the full implementation of PEGI as the sole age ratings body in the UK has been delayed until fall at the latest.

RAGE, Skyrim releases confirmed for Japan

According to this Famitsu report, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and RAGE will both release at some point this year in Japan. The Bethesda RPG is already down for a November 11 release worldwide, while the new id Software IP releases in September.

House: NGP is “first step” in offering “PlayStation experiences to a wider audience”

Following SCEA head Jack Tretton saying the recently-announced NGP, the codename of the next-gen successor to PSP, would continue the PlayStation brand’s “rich history of redefining industry standards”, SCEE boss Andy House has said in a similar open letter on the EU PS Blog that the device is just the “first step” in offering “PlayStation experiences to a wider audience”.
