Uncharted PSP2 gets shown off at Tokyo event
GameSpot’s gone live with a direct-feed capture of this morning’s Uncharted demo for PSP2.
SCE WWS boss Shuhei Yoshida was there on stage demoing it live, as the new handheld, codenamed, NGP, got its debut in Tokyo. Watch it below the break.
Uncharted is one of many first-party titles coming to the platform, including LBP and Killzone.

AMD Radeon HD 6990 unveiled, and it’s rather large
AMD’s corporate VP and general manager of its GPU division, Matt Skynner, whipped out something rather large during the firm’s Asia Pacific Fusion Tech Day, and that rather large something was the dual-Cayman GPU Radeon HD 6990.

Autolog for Shift 2 detailed, new loyalty program to be introduced
Slightly Mad’s detailed to Joystiq how Autolog will work in Shift 2: Unleashed. Basically, it’ll be the same as its introduction in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, but then some.

RAGE, Skyrim releases confirmed for Japan
According to this Famitsu report, Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and RAGE will both release at some point this year in Japan. The Bethesda RPG is already down for a November 11 release worldwide, while the new id Software IP releases in September.

Nintendo Q3 profit drops 46%
As reported by Reuters, Nintendo has reported a 46 percent fall in quarterly profit, as DS sales plummeted ahead of 3DS’s launch in February and March.

House: NGP is “first step” in offering “PlayStation experiences to a wider audience”
Following SCEA head Jack Tretton saying the recently-announced NGP, the codename of the next-gen successor to PSP, would continue the PlayStation brand’s “rich history of redefining industry standards”, SCEE boss Andy House has said in a similar open letter on the EU PS Blog that the device is just the “first step” in offering “PlayStation experiences to a wider audience”.
