THQ didn’t sign West and Zampella due to Respawn wanting to retain IP ownership
THQ’s Danny Bilson has said the ex-Infinity Ward founders Jason West and Vince Zampella would have been signed with the firm if not for the duo wanting to retain ownership of their own IP.

SEGA puts out its 2011 UK release schedule
SEGA has sent over its release schedule for the UK this year, and while there are quite a few TBA dates in there, like for Aliens: Colonial Marines and the shooter from the creator of Yakuza, Binary Domain, you’ll find release dates for quite a few others.

IGN has posted a preview of Portal 2, detailing what players will do during the first 30-minutes of the game. The preview also notes that there are also over 13,000 lines of dialogue in the game.

PS3 “Trophy Unlocker” threatens to break Trophy system
This is ridiculous.
Rumours have been ripe on some hacking forums that a new homebrew app known as “PS3 Unlocker” allows users running custom firmware to achieve 100 percent completion in any game and unlock all the trophies in the process.
