Report – Wii, DS hardware numbers at 1.3 million for Spain and Portugal in 2010

According to a recently-held press conference for the Iberica region – the part in Europe containing Spain and Portugal – Nintendo sold 1.3 million combined units of DS and Wii hardware in the area last year.

Updates to Xbox.com and Live this week

Major Nelson has flagged a set of minor updates to the Xbox Live dashboard and Xbox.com due this week.
Wednesday sees a mandatory update to the dashboard, restoring a system settings menu option to boot directly to a disc-based game rather than the dashboard.
Gamercards get an overhaul on Thursday thanks to a minor Xbox.com revamp, removing the gamerzone information and giving the old look a little dust off.
