Rumour: half of Disney Epic team laid off

Namco: Ridge Racer 3DS adapted for American tastes
A Namco Bandai localisation producer has said that Ridge Racer 3DS has been developed with US audiences in mind, with new features including muscle cars, familiar environments, and a one-button drift system like Mario Kart’s.

Warner Bros. confirms Mortal Kombat web series
Earlier this month we heard reports of a ten-part web series from Mortal Kombat: Rebirth director Kevin Tancharoen, and to the simultaneous delight and horror of fans around the world. Warner Bros. has confirmed them.

Killzone 3 transforms PlayStation Home
I don’t have any statistics to back this up, but I’d imagine that the Killzone 3 fanbase and those who regularly utilise the social space PlayStation Home are not hugely overlapping demographics. But maybe that will change now that the Central Plaza has been turned into a Killzone themed FPS.
Sadly, the change is not permanent and you won’t be able to respond to nagging friend requests with a BFG.

Portal 2 gets co-op-focused shots
Valve’s released new new screens of Portal 2, aiming at its co-op mode specifically. The shots mainly feature buddy duo Atlas and P-Body. Cute.
They’re over at CVG. Portal 2, which will feature surprises and more, releases on April 22 for PS3, 360 and PC.
