Tower of Pandora heading to Wii, Zelda Skyward Sword in the final phase of development

Tower of Pandora

Nintendo announced during its earnings briefing today not only a new Kirby title for Wii, but Tower of Pandora: Until I Return To Your Side (Pandora no Tou: Kimi no Moto e Kaeru Made).

Tower of Pandora, according to CEO Satoru Iwata, will be released in the spring. Details on it are scarce at the moment, but there is a teaser site up through here, with the following description:

Pandora's Tower
Until I Return to Where you Are
Who's happier? The person who dies beautiful or the person that lives ugly?
Scheduled for Release Spring 2011

No word yet on whether this will leave Japan or not.

Iwata also said during the briefing that Zelda Skyward Sword was currently in the final phases of development and is still on slate for this year. However, 3DS's Ocarina of Time will see a release first.

The Nintendo boss also provided an April release for Pokemon Typing DS, a typing tutorial with a bluetooth keyboard, and said there are other Pokemon developments in the works for both Wii and 3DS.

Thanks, Andriasang.
