Killzone 3 single-player demo releasing on February 9

Sony's just announced it's to release a single-player demo of Killzone 3 from February 9.

PlayStation Plus subs will get a head start on the taster before everyone else gets in on February 16.

The demo, taken from the level Icy Incursion, will support both 2D and 3D, with separate downloads for both flavours.

The 2D demo will also come with a split-screen co-op mode, which isn't included in the 3D demo.

The demo will support PlayStation Move.

An open multiplayer beta will begin next Wednesday in the US and next Thursday in Europe.

Killzone 3 launches on February 25 in Europe for PS3.
