PlayStation Meeting meeting set for 6.00am GMT Thursday

Sony's PlayStation Meeting, where it's expected that PSP2 will be announced, will begin in on Thursday afternoon at 3.00pm JPST, which is 6.00am GMT.

The info comes from Nikkei Trendy in a tweet. Its sister paper, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, said yesterday that the device would feature built-in 3G and an OLED screen.

VG247 was the first site in the world to show pictures of a PSP2 dev kit.

The device is expected to launch this year.

A PlayStation branded phone, which has had its form factor and features splattered all over the internet in recent months, is reported to be heading for a Mobile World Congress reveal in February.

Thanks, Andriasang.
