Report – Deus Ex: Human Revolution to feature three difficulty levels

Thursday, 20th January 2011 06:16 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Deus Ex: Human Revolution producer David Anfossi has reportedly told PC Gamer that there will be three difficulty levels in the game.

It follows a claim from last year from it would have a dynamic difficulty mode.

But Anfossi said that’s not the case.

“I don’t know who said that,” he said, “but that person was either drunk or doesn’t work here.

“No. We have three difficulty settings: Easy, Normal and Hard. There’s no adaptation of the difficulty at all, we don’t have anything like that.”

And that’s that.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution releases later this year for PS3, 360 and PC.

No “dynamic ifficulty” is way better so if we’re doing fine and we feel good we don’t have to deal with harder difficulty somewhere… An option to enable it when you finish the game or something would be “good” if the dude who spoke wasn’t too drunk, but it would be felt so, so, so unnecessary. Would it be too much to ask for a total third person mode like Mass Effect…? Nah, never mind, notalgics will come and hit me to death.
