Final Fantasy XIII-2 – the first English trailer in HD

You’ve probably seen it all over the internet by now. But have you heard it in English and seen it in HD? No, you haven’t.

Square Enix Europe has released the first trailer of Final Fantasy XIII-2, first announced on Tuesday at a press conference by the publisher in Japan.

Watch the HD trailer on VG247 before any other UK games site below right now.

It’ll release this year in Japan and “next winter” for PS3 and 360 in Europe and the US.

The trailer shows off main character of FFXIII Lightning in a new suit of armor as well as her new main weapon before facing off against an unknown male character.

This is probably going to be Lightning’s enemy in the game.

just listened to it, the sound is fine, whoever made the trailer must have just done a poor job and rushed it out :/

as the leaked jap trailer the other day was over a minute long

Yes, I have. It was on the Square Enix site about an hour ago. It’s also not sped up on Square Enix’s site.

And while we’re at it, was it really necessary to call a game “Dissidia 012 [duodecim]: Final Fantasy”? Could it be any less self-explanatory?

Final fantasy 13-2 is a sequel to FF13 and will continue that story

Final Fantasy Versus 13 has almost no connection to FF13, different characters, different planet, different time, different universe.

thats my understanding anyways

Square Enix has confirmed the development of another Deus Ex title at Eidos Montreal!
The game will apparently be called Deus Ex Quattro: Human-2 Revolution-II

@17, 18 – The only connection between Versus and XIII/XIII-2 is the mythology of the Fabula Nova Crystallis series.

Like l’Cie, fal’Cie, the crystals, etc.
