Updates to Xbox.com and Live this week

Major Nelson has flagged a set of minor updates to the Xbox Live dashboard and Xbox.com due this week.
Wednesday sees a mandatory update to the dashboard, restoring a system settings menu option to boot directly to a disc-based game rather than the dashboard.
Gamercards get an overhaul on Thursday thanks to a minor Xbox.com revamp, removing the gamerzone information and giving the old look a little dust off.

They need to put back all the ratings and DLC stuff that they made really inconvenient, too. Previously you got all those things on the ‘cards’ that open up in your games library or on your current disc, now you have to go and search them out in the A-Z! Rubbish!

Can I boot straight to “My Xbox” and not the ad-fest that is “Spotlight”?
Thanks.

@2 you don’t know how much that pisses me the fuck off. I hate ads on the 360. Its so rude to walk into a place and get bar-boded with employees asking you if you want to try this or that when clearly you just want to go in and get what you came for.
@3 I guess you haven’t seen the newest HOME update (many haven’t) but the new 360 dashboard menu system is a rip off of HOME’s navigation menu.
