Sony adds mid-January updates to European PlayStation Plus

Sony has updated information pertaining to PlayStation Plus member in Europe, and it is reminding members that come Friday, folks will be able to download Mass Effect 2 from the PlayStation Store, but also get a one-hour game trial of it.

You'll also be able to get a 25 percent discount on the new PSN multiplayer shooter, Modern Combat: Domination. It has 16-player battles across six modes, has leaderboards, and is for PlayStation Move.

There's also an exclusive 20 percent discount for a Costume Quest  on Ice bundle until February 2.

Finally, there's a new Sonic dynamic theme featuring the Splash Hill zone with the iconic ring-sound that comes through your speakers when you scroll through the XMB.

You can buy it in the store, but PS Plus members get if for free.
