Damn versus looks sweet, 7 min trailer. The combat looks like you take direct control of your characters actions but can switch between your party on the fly.

im 3/4 through ff13, and nothing in the game has impressed me. The graphics are never amazing, except some of the cutscenes, the art design is boring, low res textures, it looks like an early gen game. story is meh. Im playing the game and it feels like ive played the same thing before. dragon quest 8 is a million times better. Should i even bother finishing the game..

@82 the open world bit towards the end of the game is quite enjoyable if you like the combat system, lots of side mission and stuff, but yeah the stories garbage

Versus looks bitching! That is what a proper Final Fantasy game looks like! Back to the glory days of seven and eight!!!

The city scenes in Versus look wank. Battle looks mashy and Crisis Core-like. The rural areas look better but overall I’m not impressed.

All the legendary FF’s are turn-based. Versus just looks like a souped-up Bouncer at the moment.

God, gamers still care about FF? I feel sorry for the millions of fuck-wits that go out and buy these games based on the name alone.

The whole FF franchise is stale as fuck and has been for an age now.

To say the FF games are RPG’s is an insult to those developers who create “proper” RPG’s.
