Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood patch disables Xbox 360 multiplayer

The latest title update for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood fixes this, polishes that – and breaks multiplayer on Xbox 360 consoles.
After downloading and installing the latest patch, players are unable to access Brotherhood’s multiplayer mode, instead confronted by endless requests to update.
The issue was raised on the Ubisoft forums and appears to affect only Xbox 360 users, but across all territories.
Attempted fixes including total reinstalls have failed to resolve the issue.
The franchise’s production manager, Azaïzia Aymar, tweeted Ubisoft Montreal’s awareness of the issue and asked for patience while a fix is incoming.
The title update, which has been expected since early December, contains a fix for the notorious Animus bug as well as a handful of other crashes and issues.
Thanks, Joystiq.

Console gaming in it’s full glory.
I don’t remember any PC patch that disabled a multiplayer. Awesome work Ubisoft.

Seems just as impossible on consoles as on PC to me. Talk about fucking up.

What about the Bioshock 2 patch that disabled the left mouse button in multiplayer. Basically did the same thing.
