SCEE confirms February 23 EU, February 25 UK launches for Killzone 3, goes gold

Killzone 3 will launch in the EU on February 23 and in the UK on February 25, VG247 can reveal.
No date had been announced for Europe or the UK until now.
It follows news from the US earlier this afternoon that the Guerrilla shooter has gone gold (via the US PS Blog), which means it’s getting sent to press on Blu-ray discs. Go team.
SCEA’s already announced a February 22 release in the US.
It was revealed yesterday that the game had received an 18 rating from the BBFC in the UK.

@Gek – I’ve already emailed SCEE to nail down the European date as well. Just to kill it off.

@10 – largely because they’re always late with announcing things that SCEA do ages before them. Things like release dates and aforementioned pre order bonuses.
Also the UK PS Store is shocking in comparison to the US one in terms of content.
