Nintendo confirms March 4 date for Euro Pokémon Black & White

Nintendo has finally confirmed that Pokémon Black & White will release in Europe on March 4, and will issue a press release on the matter later today.

Speaking to VG247 via email today, Nintendo confirmed the game will hit two days before its US version.

ONM "confirmed" the news last night, but gave no source.

The news originally came from French sources a week ago.

Upon release in Japan last year, Black & White became the fastest-selling entry in the series so far, shifting over 1 million units by pre-order alone, and tallying up over four million units in just one month.

The previous entry, HeartGold and SoulSilver, reached 10 million sales within five months of western release – despite being a remake.
