Following an info blowout over the weekend, another video has emerged of the PS Phone from China, this time showing games running on the hardware.

Games shown in the video include Resident Evil 2 and Ridge Racer spin-off Rage Racer.

Despite CES taking place this past week, a formal announcement on the phone has still not been made, although SCE boss Kaz Hirai gave some hints away during Sony’s CES keynote in Vegas.

The video’s below.

Thanks, TSA.

I surmise that’s not an official game, given the presence of an app called ‘ROM Buddy’? :-D

Im sorry but coming from a PS3 gamer, this phone cant beat my iPhone… sorry guys.

Games from 59p cant be beat and knowing Sony they’ll charge 10x that with these games that were released 10+ years ago.

    No.

Pretty cool. Being able to play PSX games on a phone, with proper controls sounds neat.

@Blerk, i’m sure, that these are not “Leaks” and ROM Buddy stuff, it’s just a joke. I think it’s just Sony wants to think that these are leaks so they can show us games, performance and etc. for excitement.

I don’t understand how company can be so stupid when PsPhone rumours go through the net for 1-2 months. So i think they use this as a marketing tool, because everyone know that sony sucks at hiding surprises.

@KAP, “Games from 59p cant be beat and knowing Sony they’ll charge 10x that with these games that were released 10+ years ago. ”

So you are back from the future and you already know the price of these games?
for 59p you can’t play Resident evil 2 on your iPhone. There is a huge difference.

Um, decent games on the iPhone are £6+ and since the PSP classics range is £7-£8 on the PSN store – I think is where the pricing will average in future, after a few weeks at full prices.

This is a big “meh” for me.

The PSP2 and/or a tegra2 powered proper android phone gets me chubbed.

@chronoss2, The 2 dots on the touchpad in the centre are your sticks, note the rings surrounding them.

“Um, decent games on the iPhone are £6+”.

    No, they’re really not.

    Infinity Blade = £3.49
    Plants Vs Zombies = £1.79
    Mirror’s Edge – £2.99
    Broken Sword – £2.99

And so on and so forth. This also, is not taking into account the various sales and such where games either crop up FREE or get reduced to 59p.

@13 – I was thinking more of Football Manager £6.99, Real Racing 2 £5.99 and weren’t the EA ones on sale – could be wrong on that tho.

    @14

Stuff like Real Racing 2 and FM for sure, but more than anything, I guess it all depends on what you would coin a ‘decent game’.

Yeah the EA games were on sale all over the Christmas period with pretty much the entirety of their ‘Nederlund’ developed catalog being slashed to 59p or free (in the case of Mirror’s Edge).

I prefer Android over iOS, i have the u8300 (coined as the worlds cheapest android phone) it runs Android 2.1 with a 528MHz processor & is surprisingly good, it won’t run power hungry apps like Angry Birds, but for $150 AUD i could not care less :)

For the umpteenth time, the phone was always supposed to be announced at Mobile World Congress in February, as was reported. Get it through your frickin’ heads, cretins.

#17 – but if it has so badly leaked in advance, then Sony/ Sony Ericsson should just bite the bullet and call a bunch of local press conferences and get it out there. Otherwise they just look like a bunch of dummies on the big day, with their cover blown and nothing to offer.
