Microsoft: Hulu Plus 360, Kinect Netflix aiming for spring release

Xbox 360 PR boss in the US, David Dennis, has confirmed the 360 version of Hulu Plus is aiming for a spring release.

The same timeline also applies to the release of an update for Netflix to enable Kinect support.

"We're aiming for Spring," Dennis told IGN at CES in an interview.

When asked if both updates would roll out separately or as part of a bigger system update, he added: "That will depend on when they're done - if one of them is done significantly before the other, then we'll release it.

"But, if they wrap up within a short of amount of time of each other, we'll try to put them out at the same time. It's just logistically easier that way."

He also confirmed that, on top of being a Live Gold user, Hulu Plus will have its own sub on top of it.

Hulu Plus launched first for PS3 to a select number of PlayStation Plus members last summer before going completely open in November.
