Michael Jackson: The Experience moves 2 million units over the holidays

michaeljackson1

Ubisoft had a rather nice holiday as far as sales went, as Michael Jackson: The Experience on DS, PSP, and Wii sold 2 million units on all formats combined.

The sales are rather high for a bit of a newer niche IP, especially since the game has yet to go on sale in Japan, which has been bonkers over Jackson for ages.

Kinect and Move versions of the title are set to land on store shelves April 12 in regions other than Japan, which will get all versions of the title later this year. Additional songs being added to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions including Blood on the Dance Floor among other Jackson hits.

The Kinect version also includes co-op and battle modes for up to four players, while the Move version includes Facebook integration, and various hardware options between the controller, Eye, and the microphone.

Thanks, Gamasutra.

Thus it has been proven; dead men *can* dance. At least if evil publishers are allowed to have their say in the matter..

So is this the experience you take your family to where a bleached black guy with no nose fondles your children?
