Rift trailer taunts WoW as pre-orders begin

rift

Following news that Trion MMO Rift is to release on March 1, the company's decided to put out a trailer claiming, "We're not in Azeroth any more."

The footage looks pretty much like it's taken from a fantasy MMO, with the titular rift apparently some kind of gateway to giant things with tentacles.

There's also a massive man with two heads and plenty of armour. Facetiousness aside, it does look pretty good.

RIFT will be made available in the Digital Standard Edition for $49.99/€49.99/£34.99 and the Digital Collector’s Edition for $59.99/€59.99/£39.99. Pre-order it here.
