Dude steals 3DS from Chinese assembly line, uploads pictures and video to internet

A Chinese factory worker has seemingly managed to grab a 3DS from a assembly line and pictured it for the world to see.
The picture was originally posted here, but the thread’s been removed. It’s appeared again on GAF. There’s tons more pictures through here.
There’s also a video comparing 3DS to other DS SKU models below (thanks, D’Toid).
Nintendo is currently gearing up for the release of the handheld Japan on February 26.
Specific release dates for Europe and the US are likely to be announced at events in Amsterdam and New York on January 19, but a March launch has already been confirmed.
Thanks, TheDutchSlayer.

Pointless to be honest.
Everyone saw it at E3 and we have pictures of the device, so…

Wouldn’t it be funny if he stole it but doesn’t have the charger to use with it, I mean if the other three DS models are anything to go by in that each has different charger holes he’s buggered!

@2: classic stuff, very good! That shopkeeper’s not a million miles from Iwata in appearance apart from the ‘do, either.

They’ll kill the thief and make it look like a suicide.

I’m not sure if I like the sandwich biscuit ‘multiple colour’ design.

what’s the point?
no games to play on it!
unless he can wait months when it gets released. or selling it in which he can gain more money!
