Yakuza zombie release gets Japanese date

Famitsu’s confirmed that Ryu ga Gotoku Of The End, the next game in the Yakuza series, will release for PS3 on March 17 in Japan.

The title features stalwart characters from the rest of the long-running game property faced off against zombies.

The apocalyptic nature of the game may be appropriate: enigmatic lead developer of the franchise, Toshihiro Nagoshi, has confirmed he and his team are working on a new title, Binary Domain, for 360 and PS3.

Are zombies big in Japan? They are here (US) so I would imagine this would be a very smart state side release?
