The VG247 Community Awards, 2010

topgun

The best of the best. Of the best.

And here we are again. We know some of you have been waiting on the announcement of the VG247 Community Awards this year, and we didn't want to let you down. It is Christmas, after all.

We're doing things a little differently this time. For the end of our third year, we're going to award a prize to one category only, that of Best Poster.

In previous years, we've had a string of prizes for a variety of members of the community - some of them negative - but this time we want to make sure we keep it simple, stay positive and hand out a proper prize.

You're awarding dedication and a commitment to building a strong, lasting community here. Think before you decide.

Rules: Vote by sending an email with your nomination for Best Poster to patrick [at] vg247.com. Whoever gets the most votes wins. We'll announce the winner and the prize when we come back from the Christmas break.

The best of luck to all of you, and thank you so much for contributing to VG247 this year. You're helping to build something we can all be proud of, and we're beyond grateful to you for it.

Founder & Publisher (Former)

Patrick Garratt is a games media legend - and not just by reputation. He was named as such in the UK's 'Games Media Awards', the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award. After garnering experience on countless gaming magazines, he joined Eurogamer and later split from that brand to create VG247, putting the site on the map with fast, 24-hour a day coverage, and assembling the site's earliest editorial teams. He retired from VG247, and the games industry, in 2017.
