EA: Battlefield 1943 raked in $16 million, $45 million for FIFA Ultimate Team

EA CFO Eric Brown confirmed this week that Battlefield 1943 and FIFA Ultimate Team have raked in a combined $61 million for the company.
The downloadable DICE shooter, which released on PSN and Xbox Live last summer, made EA a lovely $16 million in revenue, according to comments from Brown at UBS’s Annual Media and Communication Conference.
A PC version of BF1943 is still to appear.
Brown also said that FIFA’s Ultimate Team had made $45 million in profit. The numbers come from the Ultimate Team DLC that was released for FIFA 09 and FIFA 10, as numbers for FIFA 11 on the content were not available.

1943 really didnt deserve it, EA and DICE kicked it out of the door then just forgot about it. It was a real rip-off.

I played ’43 just shy of 37 hours according to my stats, that amount of entertainment for 1200 points is a bargain in my book.

I got 1943 free with the Bad Company 2 Ultimate Edition, and I really enjoy it.
Yeah, some new maps would’ve been nice and would’ve kept more people playing.
Oh, and BEST. THEME. EVER!

Hope they at least make a Battlefield 1944 if they aren’t doing new maps. (preferably not set in the Pacific theatre)
