Flatout video for Wii shows stunt mode
Zoo Games has released a new video for Flatout on the Nintendo Wii, showing off the games stunt mode.
Anyone who has ever played Pain on PS3 may notice how familiar this section of the game looks, but instead of launching your character from a catapult, you use your emergency brake and let him fly through your wind shield.
In addition to the original classic stunts, which fans of the series have been used to, Zoo Games have also introduced a new Nightmare mode for the stunt section of this version of Flatout, introducing a much darker design, which results in a harder and more challenging mode than previously.
Flatout for Wii has not yet been dated for release.

FlatOut was great, and considering what the first game got out of the old PS2 it had potential for the Wii as well. But they’ve ditched the original developer and handed it over to a company known for low-budget trash. No surprise that this video looks less than impressive.

My Friday night crew have played either Flatout or Flatout Ultimate Carnage without fail every week since they were launched. Thankfully Flatout is fully BC so works perfectly on the 360, and the physics still put most car-based games to shame.
The Party mode of these games are just perfect pass-the-controller fare. Goes are not too long, events are simple to pick up but with a hell of a lot of depth. Stone skipping has to be our favourite.
I really hope there is a new Flatout game on the way to 360.
