Valkyria Chronicles III CE features a cup

Not kidding.
Sega’s revealed the contents of the the DX edition of Valkyria Chronicles III for Japan.
In it features a secret diary known as “Gallia Secret Document”, dog tags and a collapsible cup. If you’re importing, there’s another reason to add to the pros list.
Valkyria Chronicles III launches on January 27 for PSP in Japan. No western launch has been confirmed yet by Sega.
Thanks, D’Toid.

Thats the hell of it all tho. Sega could have done the same with Phantasy Star. The PS3 doesn’t even have a version(XB360, PSP, and DS all do). But instead they released two games thus far and a third is on its way for PSP.
The JP sales chart I saw had 11 of the top 20 games being hand helds. 5 were Wii games. Leaving only 4 of the top 20 as PS3 games. Thats only 20%.
JP loves there handhelds. IMO, it is one of their weaknesses when attempting to compete in world wide markets. In JP everyone seems to own handhelds. The only people I see playing handheld systems(not counting Phones) in the states are kids.
I have a PSP3000, componate cables, and a small HDTV that I use to play said Phantasy Star games. But I would trade it all in for a real full blown console version.
Sometimes I think the JP are missing out on potential markets. But then I remind myself that handheld games are cheaper, faster, and easier to make then those full blown console games.
in the end it is what it is. Not too much we can do about it. If we want to play their games, we are stuck playing them where they publish ‘em.
