Inafune opens new blog, says he wants to "challenge things" and "exceed his former self"

Back to the old drawing board? Hardly.

Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune's opened a new blog, shockingly titled "It's Keiji Inafune!" This, of course, comes after one of the ugliest break-ups in recent game development history.

So, what's next for the man who called Capcom a "communist state"? Well, put simply, he wants to make games. Portables, consoles, social games, online games - you name it, he's interested.

Failing that, however, Inafune mentioned that he'd also like to try his highly experienced hand at movies, books, or manga.

"I'd like to challenge things that I couldn't do during my salaryman era and greatly exceed my former self," he explained.

Think he's being a bit too ambitious? Let's not forget that this is the man who took "blue robot child repeatedly beats up old man" and turned it into a multi-million dollar franchise. Go tame lions while becoming the world's foremost ice swan sculptor, Inafune! We believe in you!

Thanks, Andriasang.
