ActiBlizz reports better-than-expected financial results for Q3 2010

Activision Blizzard has released its financial report for the third quarter of 2010, and announces the results were better-than-expected with net revenues of $745 million, compared to the same quarter last year when it reported $703 million – beating its outlook of $600 million.

Konami reports growth for first half of fiscal year thanks to PS3 and PSP offerings

Konami has issues a financial report detailing earnings for the first half of fiscal year 2010 (March – Sept.) and it finds the firm with net revenue of ¥115.8 billion ($1.43 billion) compared to last year’s ¥113.9 billion ($1.4 billion) for the same period.
Income came in at ¥4.6 billion ($57 million) to ¥8.1 billion ($99 million).
