First nine minutes of Prince of Persia Trilogy HD show off sharp swords, sharper graphics

popthesandsoftime

Gotta hand it to the prince: he cleans up really nicely. Oh sure, he’s still a scruffy ne’er do well at heart, but he doesn’t look like he’s smeared himself with Vaseline anymore. And what’s that smell? Is that a hint of… lavender? Oh, never mind. That’s just the gas leak in our house again. See, ever since it started, we’ve been able to see smells. Such is the case with a recently posted video of an animated series called “Assassin’s Creed: Ascendance.”

It hails from UbiWorkshop, a studio that’s produced previous Ubi promo work in the form of short movies, art books, and comics, and shows an assassin going for a nice rooftop jog in the middle of a rainstorm. Check it out after the break.

Australian board outs “Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves”

littlebigplaneta13

Is Sackboy going to bust a groove with some dinosaurs? Will he be assuming the role of a dorky but well-meaning father who embarrasses his children by being positively disco-obsessed? Is Sony’s new Move motion controller going to be somehow involved?

We have no idea. But Australia’s Classification Board’s rated the game, so it definitely exists.
