Killzone 3 Collector’s Editions confirmed for Europe, detailed

Guerrilla’s announced it’s bringing two collector’s editions of Killzone 3 to Europe, including the Helghast Edition that was previously announced for the US.
As well as your standard version, you’ll also get the steelbook Collector’s Edition and the Helghast Edition.
The steelbook Collector’s Edition will include the game as well as a redeemable code to download a dynamic XMB theme, soundtrack and a retro map-pack that lets you download two multiplayer maps from Killzone 2.
And if you pre-order the game from selected retailers, you’ll get all this:
- Guerrilla Pack
Unlocks all weapons and abilities for your first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay. - Fast Starter Pack
Lets you rise through the ranks faster by earning experience points at twice the normal rate for your first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay. - Unlock & Load Pack
Gives you 3 unlock points to use on any weapon or ability you want.
The Helghast Edition will feature all of the above, as well as a hand-decorated Helghast helmet, a 100-page hardbound art book, a cloaking marksman figure and the pre-order goods.
No prices, though. And still no date then just February. The waiting game has begun.

Hard to believe this comes out in 3 months, we’ve barely seen anything of it. A delay really wouldnt surprise me.

Sadly, the SteelBook won’t come in the US version. But it’s okay. Still buying the Helghast Edition, I don’t care lol. Can’t wait for February.

Helghan soldiers have to be some of most badass looking enemies in any game.

@2: many people are playing the beta MP right now, so I guess no delay. I’m not a patriot, but as a Dutchman I’m quite proud of they achieve this on PS3.
/swithing to Dutch now
Klasse mannen! Ga zo door!

@6 sorry but LBP2 was supposed to be released in November with the likes of Black ops, GT5, Kinect, and games from October like Fable 3, Medal of Honor. Of course they were gonna delay LBP2 cause they wanted a more successful game than LBP1. Killzone 3 is scheduled for Feb where theres hardly any big franchise games being released. They already revealed all the MP features and leaving the campaign a suprised when the game is released. ITS READY!

I suspect with Resistance 3 slated for the end of next year, Sony will really want to keep Killzone 3 for the start of it, if possible.

this is definitely my most anticipated game so far. I want this game right now!!!!
Once we get a glimpse and a release date for Uncharted 3, then that will be my next most anticipated game.
Killzone, Uncharted, and gears of war are definitely my favorite exclusive series of this gen.
