Game Dev Story 2 confirmed by Kairosoft
That sound you hear is millions of games journalists squeeling in delight.
Kairosoft has confirmed it is creating Game Dev Story 2. It’s not coming out anytime soon, though.
“We will be developing a sequel, but we are not planning on releasing it soon,” a rep said in an interview with Toucharcade.
“We are thinking of improving the game by adding elements of networking in the sequel, such as sales score rankings and sending employees to a friend’s company, etc.”
The original GDS launched at the start of October for iPhone, and has been critically hailed as a fantastic iOS title.
Don’t be too shellshocked if this finds its way into some game of the year lists. Why? Spoiler: it’s brilliant.

There’s a Facebook version of the game currently in development. You can try the alpha version here : http://apps.facebook.com/gamestudiostory/ but it’s pretty empty (it’s just an alpha)

this is an awesome game the only problem I found was once you’ve made 1 or 2 hit games it becomes very easy. I loved it though and spent way to much time on it. I enjoyed my action golf game it was called “Golfmando” it was a very big seller ya know
