Angry Birds hits 7 million downloads on Android

Dear developers: less shooters, more catapulting bird games please. Thanks.

Angry Birds has hit 7 million downloads on Android, developer Rovio has announced.

The figure was announced when a user on Twitter said to the developer that not all titles on Android are free. To which, the developer said:

"True, but the ones with more than 50K downloads are... We just hit 7M downloads on Android."
