Animus Project Update 1.0 DLC for AC: Brotherhood hits December 14

Ubisoft announced today the Animus Project Update 1.0 DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood will land on December 14 for PS3 and Xbox 360 for the price of free.
The Animus Project Update 1.0 will include a brand-new game mode and brand new map for multiplayer, and the game mode, Advanced Alliance, will make the original Alliance Mode with target identification and engagement more difficult than in original mode with three teams of two players each.
The map is located on a the rocky tidal island of Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France, and includes narrow streets, “high-perched bell tower and multi-leveled architecture”.
“We are very thrilled to be able to offer the first Multiplayer DLC for Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood for absolutely free,” said Sebastien Puel, executive producer, Ubisoft Montreal. “We wanted to say thank you to our fans for making Brotherhood such a huge success its opening week. We are very proud of the unique and innovative Multiplayer mode it offers, and hope the fans enjoy the new content.”

They better offer MP content for free, because it isnt worth any extra charge.

But COD and Uncharted2 is? How does one determine what multiplayer is worth money and what is not?
AC:B’s multiplayer is quite refreshing and surprisingly fun IMO.

I didn’t think I was going to like the multiplayer for this game, but it’s so refreshing and addictive I’ve fallen in love with it. The guys at ubisoft have done one hell of a job on this game.

The multiplayer for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood is one of the most enjoyable multiplayer I’ve played in years. And with a price of free, you really can’t complain.

@9 I’ve had problems getting into a match on maybe one or two occasions. Not been an issue.
