Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad shown in wintery shots

redorch2

The Eastern Front doesn’t look very quiet. It’s not very warm, either.

Tripwire’s released some new screens of Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, showing off three of the war game’s winter maps: Fallen Fighters, Red October and Commissar’s House.

The FPS, featuring German and Russian campaigns, co-op modes, a single-player campaign and straight-up multiplayer, will be available in 2011 for PC.

The best bit about the sequel? “Tanks created with fully-operational 3D interiors”. Get a glimpse of the future past below.

Wow, it does look really, really cold.

This is the only multiplayer-focused game I look forward to these days (maybe TrackMania 2 as well, but why are Nadeo so silent?). The original was really enjoyable.

Doesn’t look as pretty as I once hoped though =/
