Fable III “accolades” trailer touches game in special place

fable33

Fable III’s amazing. Everyone says so.

Microsoft just released an “accolades” trailer for Fable III, which is basically a video outlining the RPG’s premise overlaid with positive quotes from various media outlets.

Pure PR, but who cares? If you haven’t already bought Molyneux’s latest, watch this then get it. Or just get it. Just get it.

Fable III released at the end of October, managing 580,000 units in the US in just five days on sale.

Good, at least some of the quality titles are selling well at the moment.

Nice counter Black Ops sceduling too, smart.

I’ve played the first half-hour and I haven’t touched it since.

Not because its shit. Mostly because I have a massive backlog as it is.

It’s all fine and dandy, but why is a patch taking so long? The butler in my game doesn’t talk at all anymore, no more random jokes and what not. Clearly a bug.

I like it – but I’d quite like John Cleese to stop trying to sell me stuff on the marketplace every bloody time I drop back to the hub. Feels… tawdry.

@6 I agree, it’s annoying to tell me new stuff is in the shop everytime. If it didn’t cost real money that would be fine. But once you don’t buy something, he tells you every single time… annoying.

Btw, I am a little dissapointed in the game because I find it a bit too easy. I ramped up the difficulty, but that only seems to add “hit points” to the enemy… big woopy, that just means I have to roll and shoot 2 extra times. More enemies would nice, instead of beating a few at a time.
Also once I figured out the reputation system is essentially broken, the game opens up and offers little challenge. I slaughter entire towns with no effort and there are really no negative side effects to it. oh well… it’s good for one play thru, cuz I can care less about the Stone Doorways. Since it’s so easy, I don’t really need whats behind them.
