A black Friday avert for Target has been leaked a bit early, two weeks to be exact, and according to what’s listed on the flyer, there’s going to be more than just kitchen appliances on sale at the mega-retailer.

According to Brad Olson, the founder of Black Friday website, a leaked copy of Target’s circular was handed over to him (via Yahoo News late last night), and the circular has some really nice deals for gaming enthusiasts along with some interesting Doorbuster.

  • Xbox 360 Black Wireless Game Controller – $39.99

There’s also deals on iPods, movies, storage sticks, and even a toaster or two through the link up top. You’ll want to check it out.

According to Yahoo,  Target spokeswoman Jessica Carlson refused comment on the leak but said Target’s ad will be posted online  November 24, and the print circular will land in mailboxes on Thanksgiving day, November 25 – which is a bit odd because the mail doesn’t run on Thanksgiving.

Either way, expect the official ad on Black Friday at the latest.

Black Friday is as much of a holiday as Valentine’s Day or Mother/Father’s Day; it somehow became a tradition where you go out and buy stuff. Although this year, lots of places are having Black November, with deals every weekend or all month long. It’s kind of strange, though not in an annoying way like Christmas promotions beginning on Halloween this year…

@6 It’s like Thanksgiving doesn’t even exist. On October 28 I waltzed into Wally World (aka Walmart) and they were already putting out Christmas decorations for sale. Seriously. It’s rather sickening. But, at the same time, when I worked at Dillard’s during college, Oct 31 was the day the store decorators started putting up trees. Just like on July 4th they started dressing mannequins for winter.

It’s insane, and rather stupid if you ask me. Unless it involves shoes.
