MK: Sub-Zero trailer shows why he’s after Scorpion’s blood
Warner’s released an all-new Mortal Kombat trailer detailing Sub-Zero’s backstory.
The movie shows how he went on to become the Ultimate Assassin, and why he’s come to take part in the Mortal Kombat Tournament. He’s not in good terms with Scorpion apparently.
The trailer features little gameplay footage, but makes for an interesting watch nonetheless.
Mortal Kombat releases sometime in 2011 for PS3 and Xbox 360, and is being developed by Netherrealm Studios.

WTF!? Did they just remove the whole previous origin? The Sub-Zero brothers were more than 2 and they were not mere stolen infants but a race known as Cryomancers from some extinct gods. They had 7th Sub-Zero, 9th and so on…

Come on. MK was always the only fighting game with decent story and character backgrounds (At least during MK1-3). Plus, I love their over the top and bat shit insane scenarios and dramas!
