Video: GT5 intro gets out
Dear Sony: GIVE US A DATE. Sincerely, us.
Someone’s gone and filmed the whole seven-minute long introduction to Gran Turismo 5. And then put it onto the internet. And cockteases it by saying, ‘I have GT5, you don’t.’
The intro appears to be a mix of real-life and game footage using assets from the title. It starts off with what looks like the real-life stuff with Polyphony credits before showing in-game video.
Yesterday, VG247 was told the Polyphony racer is expected to release between November 30-December 8. A video then emerged of someone at home playing the full game.

I’d imagine Sony will wait for the Black Ops buzz to die down and then go full out on marketing.

Video’s been up since last night. Though SCEA did ask GTplanet to take down the post linking to it (despite not really taking down the video). There’s plenty more out there showing gameplay, dealerships and the like.

@3 Sounds a bit likely. Only other thing that’ll get affected is probably Hot Pursuit (though it’ll be out before this).

My reactions to the video:
First 2 minutes: Oh, that must have been shoot when they were printing the game discs
Minutes 3-4: Why am I thinking about Modern Times? Won’t we be driving as Charlie Chaplin?
Second part of the video: Oh, finally they’re showing cars racing! Niiice.
