User creates 8-bit CPU for Minecraft which “takes in binary code” [Update]

A Minecraft player called The1Laz has built an 8 bit CPU in the game, using redstone, which “takes in binary machine code and outputs to a line of redstone torches”.
We’ve posted the video of it below.
While we, admittedly, do not understand any of this, some of you will whether you play around with Minecraft or not, thus the reason it’s been posted.
As of this post, the game currently has 1,821,525 registered users and 577,059 have bought the game. In the last 24 hours, 16,510 people registered, and 4,963 people bought the game.
Amazing.
Update: @mrtom just dropped us a link to this, a 16-bit ALU. This makes our brains hurt:

Great! Pair this up with the Minecraft Memory banks and you’ve got a stew going!
Also, title of this article is very misleading, should be changed.

Well that video I sent Pat is a few months old now… He might be close to that. The future is a PC running Minecraft within Minecraft
