Kinect launches in US - Times Square launch gets pictured

As you will have seen by now, Kinect's finally launched in the US, where its main Times Square midnight launch has been pictured to hell and back.

Kotaku and VentureBeat are carrying shots of the midnight opening, the latter being pictures from Major Nelson's Twitter throughout the night.

The reviews embargo for the hardware and software was earlier this morning. Big stuff happened. Get them all rounded up here.

Kinect launches in the UK and Europe next Wednesday.
