Nintendo’s announced today it’s bringing back the demo service for WiiWare.

The service will allow players to try out games coming to the service before they are released, something which was previous tried until February of this year.

Nintendo says these tasters “will be available for a limited time only ensuring the line-up is constantly kept refreshed to provide players with a varied and entertaining experience.”

The first demos to arrive for WiiWare as of this Friday are Furry Legends, Jett Rocket, ThruSpace and Zombie Panic in Wonderland Demo.

The demos will be available to view from a dedicated list here or on the Wii Shop Channel.

Hmm. I’ve never even heard of any of these. Anyone?

I own Jett Rocket, a Simple but fun Platformer, and I own Zombie Panic in Wonderland…Its a shooter similar to House of Dead, where you just stand still and the enemies come towards you. In Panic in Wonderland, your a Samuri who holds a sword in one hand and an Uzi in the other. It is quite a bit of fun, very colorful, but kind of on the short side. I really enjoyed it, though it is not as fun as its cousin Little Red Riding Hood’s Zombie BBQ on the DS. Panic in Wonderland, has some Odd Humor though as the final boss comes off quite fruity, and all the little gnomes are all nice smelling and sought after…the Story is typical Japanese quirky with little understanding.

Furry Legends and ThruSpace were not my kind of games so I passed on them.
