Indie Games Festival draws nearly 400 entrants

The 13th annual Independent Games Festival released the names of nearly 400 entrants aiming for this year’s gold.

Minecraft, Cave Story and many more are all included.

Did you know that A New Zero is a vehicle combat simulation? We didn’t. And yet now we do.

The list includes 150 entries for mobile hardware like the iPhone, iPad, DS, PSP and Android devices, with all mobile entries now eligible for all IGF 2011 prizes, including a unique Best Mobile Game award.

The winners will be announced in San Francisco next February.
