Catherine to release on February 17

Atlus announced that adult adventure Catherine, the first HD game from the Persona team, will be releasing on February 17 in Japan next year for PS3 and 360, priced at ¥7,329.
The announcement was made at the game’s website and development blog.
Atlus parent Index Holdings hopes to sell at least 150,000 copies of the game.
No word on plans of a foreign release yet.
Thanks, Andriasang.

Is it a trend, lately, that the companys are releasing numbers, they hope to sell? Does it show the break even point or whats the point of that?

I’ll buy 2000 copies just to support the developers. They’re the ones that brought me Persona.
The game’s story needed those adult themes and they’re not there just to attract the teenagers and I have confidence in it, but even after following Famitsu or the game’s blog every week, I still don’t know anything about the gameplay.

I’m still unsure as to whether this’ll ever make it out of Japan or not. Be interested to see some actual gameplay vids, regardless.

Wasn’t the original trailer show at Gamescom?
I would think/hope that means that the west will get the game.
