Atlus US pegs profitability on Demon's Souls

demonssouls

Atlus parent company Index Holdings has released figures for Atlus USA's fiscal year ending August 31, showing Demon's Souls-related up-arrows.

Sales for the period were $40.7 million, up from $30.35 million in the preceding year.

The company made $5.39 million operating profit for the period, up from a $1.14 million loss in 2009.

Those figures have been calculated by Siliconera, with the earlier set summed at historic exchange rates between the dollar and yen.

Index partly attributed the lift to strong Demon's Souls sales.
