MoH Clean Sweep DLC explained in trailer

Wednesday, 20th October 2010 06:43 GMT By Patrick Garratt

Following last night’s announcement that Medal of Honor will get its first DLC, a new mode called Clean Sweep, on Novewmber 2, EA’s released a promo trailer showing the whole thing off.

Four new maps are included in the pack, two of which are completely new and two of which have been completely re-designed.

The new levels are called Bagram Hangar and Khyber Cave.

The mode features four minutes of play with two teams and no respawning. Best out of the three rounds wins the game.

The DLC is free. Which is the best sort of “ee”.

EA lasy last night that Medal of Honor sold 1.5 million units in its first five days on sale. The shooter release on October 12 in the US and October 14 in Europe.

Obvious content that was originally in the game then taken out to make the online pass look more important is obvious.

Just like with BFBC2, EA will no doubt just keep adding modes that should have already been in the game from the start to already existing maps rather then release brand new ones. Then they’ll release some interesting content that isnt covered by the online pass.

As usual with EA servers, MoH’s are already choked and lagging. Got the game early and the difference in the experience between then and now is horrible, almost unplayable.

Pity – I was enjoying it the first few days. Guess it’ll improve when CoD hits next month and it goes back to empty servers…

Yeah, although I only rented the game for a week, I had planned to play MP until returning it on Friday. After this morning’s lag-fest it might now stay in the case.
