Medal of Honor raked in $100 million, says Riccitiello

MOH

EA CEO John Riccitiello has told Fox News that Medal of Honor hoorah’ed in $100 million in its launch week.

The figure, while no doubt massive, is still a ways off Modern Warfare 2′s cool $1 billion or Halo: Reach’s $200 million day one sales.

EA announced last night the shooter reboot sold 1.5 million copies within its first five days of going on sale, whilst also announcing new DLC for those who redeemed their online pass.

Thanks, IG.

Just goes to prove if you choose your release date carefully even something that falls so short of true potential, like MoH, will sell…

Thats the only problem i have with the game. Butt loads of potential gone down the crapper. Still is fun, just so much potential down the drain.

For a reboot to a series in a FPS heavy market, thats pretty damn good.
