The sea sponge who lives in a pineapple under the sea wants to stay friends with THQ a little longer.

THQ announced yesterday another multi-year deal to handle all Spongebob games.

The publisher has been in charge of the series since 2002.

THQ said titles would be coming to the usual platforms, as well as Kinect and 3DS.

"Over the last eight years, THQ has been creating quality gaming experiences based on everyone's favorite animated character who lives in a pineapple under the sea," said THQ EVP Martin Good.
