Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood sets Ubisoft pre-order record

Ubisoft's claimed that Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is the most pre-ordered game in the company's history, but has fallen short of giving a definite figure.

"Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is being heralded by the press as a single and multiplayer experience unlike any other," said Tony Key, Ubisoft's senior VP of sales and marketing.

"As evidenced by the record number of pre-orders and the success of the multiplayer beta, consumers can't wait to get their hands on Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, and we're looking forward to delivering them an experience they'll never forget."

The game is ramping up nicely for launch now, with a single-player trailer hitting yesterday alongside new shots and some play impressions from Keza.

The Assassin's Creed franchise has now sold more than 19 million units in total.

Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood releases on November 16 in the US and November 19 in the UK for PS3 and 360. It’s releasing for PC next year.
